The game has gone too bonkers to keep me playing now, plus I got into golf again, and working towards single handicap within 4 months.

What is that guy talking about? Seek help for what? You either are doing something to make money or you’re not. Either way everyone is fucked in the head to some degree. I would think playing games in your moms basement is less harmful than a great many things. Big money hungry corporations are a much bigger problem.
