Just looking to see if anyone has any experience with any of the following monitors, I'm looking to get a 27inch freesyn monitor (likely tomorrow when sales kick in) not fussed by ips - just after raw speed really.

currently using a lg w2363d 120hz which has 0 input lag when in thru mode, so don't want to buy something and find it feels worse to play on.

Asus MG278Q - already on sale from 480 to 380

it does'nt, i don't get tearing in any game with adaptive sync at 60hz on a rubbish old acer V246HL, i might get some when scrolling down a big web page, otherwise, i could'nt care for freesync or g-sync, they are just some money making bullshit for stupid people

it works anyway, with display port @ 144hz on your desktop

the colors are nasty, so you need to turn down the contrast to 60/62, and brightness to 50 on the OSD or you will go blind

the viewing angle from the side is probably 179 degree's, with no color change

weird bug where you loose your custom windows 10 taskbar color settings when you turn the power off and on on the monitor

you have to turn the monitor off again to switch taskbar colors, and sometimes only switches back to your custom set color

also looks better with black tuner on -2 in the OSD picture adjust

shit to that, you have to turn the contrast down to 52 and brightness 25

otherwise its like looking at the sun, when you get in from the shops

for daytime you can just turn on and off the Adv. contrast which will auto set it like you PC has a day light sensor, unless the monitor actually has a sensor somewhere

Maybe this thread could be of some use to you, even though it is a 2016 thread.
But at least two of the monitors you name are mentioned there.
It has helped me to make a choice some time ago, albeit a G-sync screen for me.
Lot of useful info imho.

I ended up going for the asus mg278q as had a decent deal on it, it went back up top �440 but is back down at �387 today (i bought on thursday).

Arrives today so will update here if anyone else is interested.
