I am very happy to announce we have Epic Games as a Supporter for the UK FPs Gaming Lan.

Tickets/seats can be booked right now.

- UK Lan !
- march 2016 24th-28th
- Brownhills Activity Centre, Walsall, North Birmingham

- Sign in time Friday 13:00 - 14:00 sign out time Monday.

Early arrivals
- Sign in time Thursday 17:00 - 14:00 sign out time Monday.

All on site hardware has been booked so this is now a stricktly BYOC (Bring your own computer) event for 18+.
A Quakelive focused event with a few other games being played on the side (UT99, UT2004, Shootmania, Maybe Reflex). This will be a great chance to get some quake players together of all skill levels, as most other lans seem to be dominated by other games.

We have enough room for a good 40 players. You will need to bring something to sleep on like an airbed or camp bed etc.There will be a Duel tournament. Prize pool now stands at ŁTBA!

Cost of the Lan: Ł45, Ł52 for early arrivals
Includes: Indoor sleeping and Kitchen.

Well its going to be a nice size lan. Will be posting up once an venue is sorted. There will be 3 main compos going on reflex is just one of them. So looking to see if anyone is up for Reflex on lan, if not ill put the prize money into the UT/QL compo's.

Reflex, I'm not sure it will attract a range of players in my opinion, personally I think you should stick with quakelive and propose a more wider range of modes. What I mean by this is introduce more team games, ( eg; ctf ca etc... ) this will not only produce a better atmosphere within the LAN but would also attract more people to attend which players overseas would consider travelling too.

Also, is there any spaces available for the lan in Walsall? I'm considering going.

Do not worry there will be plenty of quake happening. There are a few seats left but it first come first serve and 18+ only so if you want to come make it quick.

Just a reminder: If you set the servers to sv_public 0, a copy and paste of someone else's Reflex folder will work for LANs.

if you like reflex attend the lan, will give support to the game. ql have enough support from community. Why waste time to try to convert peoples back to quake live? is childish on your part no?

Coulnd't make it this weekend due to family commitments.... but soon I'll have my whole family committed so this won't be an issue for the next LAN

A vod from the lan last night. Garpy did a bit of reflex gaming for the stream. This was played on a dedicated lan server.

If we can get enought people going i am happy to have a Reflex Duel compo going.

Ok guys im looking at a much bigger venues already and i have found one that could easy sit 200+ Gamers and have exhibition areas etc and plenty of space spectators to come and view the lan.

What people think of that :P.
