Alright then are you suggesting that something else separates the players more than aim and spam? I bet you if my MG accuracy was 60% consistently I would be among the best players in the world... I wouldn't need to use anything other than MG - it has the lowest DPS of any weapon in the game but its hitscan properties make it the 2nd most powerful at long range. The most powerful obviously being the RG.

Now obviously that's easier said that done, but suggesting that Quake Live is a deep game is really stupid. Its a fun game no doubt and takes skill but its not like you ever use your brain when playing Quake, just a spinal column and a steady hand is all that is required.

Sure picking up quad damage and lightning gun helps and the rest of the stuff that is in QL but this is all like so little compared to the big words AIM and SPAM. If you haven't got the latter down to a fine science you are never going to own. Simple as that.

Just for the record, I have gold bar in both FFA and CW. And although this isn't much I think I know how to play the game so I can tell what it actually takes to be good at it.
