Are you annoyed that mappools of recent tournaments consist of oldschool maps for the most part? Do you long for something fresh? Then don't miss the experimental tournament series - 125 FPS Fresh Blood. As you probably already guessed the unusualness of this series lies in the mappool.

From Monday to Friday (13-17 May) there will be five open tournaments, a new map every day. Players will collect points during every tournament. At the end of the week the 8 players with the most points will face off in the final tournament on Saturday (18 May).

It has a duel layout with some parts blocked.

I don't understand the cup name though. Fresh blood usually refers to new players.

(New/unused maps were historically called Kenya.)

Would definitely go for Concrete Palace and Sorrow instead of Terminatria and Windsong Keep. Yes, yes, I know the whole point of this is to try new maps, but we have two much better maps for 1v1 right here, that could replace those two.

I always wanted to see a duel on Terminatria. Saw the match bpatela vs mal on QLRanks stream... GOOD GOD.

Damage: 800 to 1800, basically there was a period of 3 minutes where one of them took all megas and reds and did not see or hear the opponent. Worst +back map ever.

As soon as it was 2-1 it was impossible to take another frag, cause camping tele works wonders.

Now I know why really NOONE ever plays it in duel. I lol'd.

i'm sure there are some other reasons:
- players haven't much duel experience on it
- 10 mins is too damn little to make duel fair. imho it should be 15mins or mb even 20mins as it was in earlier Quake-games.
