I have been buying these mice from Korea for the past few years, however Razer Korea have stopped producing these mice now and the supplier I bought them from is now charging Ł50 per unit now as opposed to Ł20-30 as it should do.

Long story short if anyone could let me know if there is a retailer in Europe (or if its cheap enough even outside Europe) that still sells this mouse (not the 2013 version).

what's wrong with the new one? afaik they fixed all the bugs(at least for DA so it should be possible for krait aswell)

Mine skips and does 360 uberspins like the mico, kinzu v2 pixaar mice do.

The old shape is 10x better cause it has indented sides \___/ so even though its not tall its easy to pick up.

The thing that goes in my krait is either the mouse buttons or scroll wheel. However the mouse switches would be relatively easy to replace would they not?

Have you tried updating the firmware? Those spins have been fixed for DA which shares the same sensor so unless they're acting retarded and don't allow you to update firmware like it was with abyssus/diamondback it should be fixed/fixable in the future

Even without the mouse sensor flaws I felt like it was too narrow in the middle, the original krait is a much better fit for my hands. I'm going to try replacing the switches and hopefully i can repair a few of the kraits where the clicks have gone.

Hopefully the button clicks shouldn't get too bad, I've heard of people having mice for several years (5 years plus) without them breaking.

Switches are easy to replace however it's usually button plastic becoming deformed so that buttons feel lousy or start missclicking, etc. On the other hand that plastic is moldable when heating so everything is fixable tbh

Razer krait 07 had numerous sensor issues, it's the worst possible mouse you can own right now.

ebay only has a few 07 models and those go for 70$ a pop, don't know why. 2013 model costs ~30$

krait 07 is fairly good on 400dpi(4+ m/s and no accel, jitter or any other issues), but overclocking usb on your own and installing drivers to switch to 400dpi is shit, forced angle snapping aswell, though it's a personal preference

What issues? I didn't see anything really wrong with it.

These mice haven't been in production for a long time.. unless the ODM tooling was released to be made "elsewhere"... (doubt, but im not 100% sure)

Then I must have owned a faulty one, the sensor skipped, sometimes the cursor pointed on top of the screen without me even interacting with it, swiping on the pad made the movement look choppy.

Krait and Diamondback were the first two razer mice that I owned and also the first two that made me realize, all the shiny led lights and "fresh" design won't beat a 30$ mx518 (at that time).

Except for a relatively high lift off distance it has absolutely no sensor issues.
