bro, its stermy, of course hes fucking interested in quake. what im more interested in is whether or not we'll ever see a GDArena for quake or that $10k lan that was promised 2 years ago.

FACEIT has not disappointed thus far (in any way). people bitched about own3d. they switched to twitch. people bitched about more quake. they got more quake. and the legends cup was just... @_@ looks a very promising future for faceit but I wonder if they're getting the kind of usage from their platform they wanted (and the #s since quake is relatively small compared to the other titles out there).

Hey, if I was super rich, I'd be giving out money to Quakers all the time. Big tournaments, to make even the LoL tourney organisers think "What are we doing wrong!?!?" (when it's just a matter of a great game vs not even close game).

On a serious note, all the current tournament organisers (IMO) should put up a good website, think of an innovative betting system where all the players could put in their own wagers (sort of as in poker), and also a donation page where viewers can increase the base prize pool. I think it would work. I wouldn't mind dishing out 50 dollars a week for a great tournament TBH.
