I prefer my memories to not involve a camera - for them to be memories of ACTUAL EVENTS not poses created for the camera. You add the camera it alters how everyone is. So friends bringing their camera alters my night, it's not about looking at the photos. That's not to say I don't enjoy some of the photos or fall in line I just don't deem it necessary to catalogue every moment of my life this way. But that's just me.

Everyone owning a camera doesn't make everyone a photographer. I imagine given your love of the lense you'd agree...
