oh wow. but why is it so far down? you can barely even notice it. it should be the first one up. and a stream list aka seeing which stream is ACTIVE right now. you see the sites i linked, they have this. so you'd know exactly which streams are live at the moment, all in one list.

There are no user streams, and events w/ stream link get bumped to the top.

all i'm saying is to make it more accessible.
have a "streams live" link on top which would bring you to a "live streams" page. similar to how cl and tl have on their site.

A - right on top of their site, so its the first thing people see. if someone is new to the quake community, they can see the streams list easier
B - improve the events list and also have it in a better spot.

1st: ESReality is not like teamliquid or clgaming. It's much older than clgaming and probably even older than teamliquid.

2nd: 90% of the people on this site are ghosting around here for more than several weeks, they are here since years. In fact I'm one of the newer users on here and I've been here since November 2009 (registered but I've looked up news on this site since 2007). They know where the stuff that they need is.

3rd: Quake Community is dying out. There are almost no new players that are willing to spend more than 10 minutes on quake per day. Those who are are again not allways willing to bash their heads with ~100 trolls, elitists, fags and other residents of ESReality. If some one new gets onto this site, it's because he was reffered by someone he knows or because he found a link to a news/article from ESReality on another gaming site. 99% of those visitiors don't stay here too long, and if they do they are willing to spend some time to get a clue about how ESRealtiy works and where they can find different things.

If you still think that it will help ESRealtiy, or Quake in general, to have a streaming section like the two sites you mentioned have, then you can make a suggestion to one of the admins around here and perhaps someone of them will sometime have time to implement it, but don't be too optimistic since ESReality has been like this since several years and most people on here don't want to change it. Perhaps you could do it yourself with the permission of one of the sites admins, but noone will be overly excited by your idea, trust me.

I'm not Ray :). I'm perfectly fine with QL dying and ESR mutating to a hort of trolls/elitists. I will still keep playing QL Duel and reading news/comments on this site.
