Con was using a timer, not technically cheating since the rules of the tournament were insufficiant at the time, but pretty lame though.

"Skjalfti" ( Quake, basically in English ) as it was called, was purely an Icelandic LAN event that covered most of the multiplayer internet games. It was held around 3-4 times a year, depending on circumstances and had around 500 players attend regularly. ( Mostly CS, with Quakers making up a fairly good number as well )

If I remember correctly MurK sponsored fox to attend as their guest and play with them in the teamplay portion.

cool, will take a look right away. at that time i was impressed that some starplayer like fox got beaten from an international unknown...wasn't even a murk player :) and my memory tells me that guy had hardcore aim for that time...
