it's a mouse pad dude, the difference in price can't be too great. just go out one night less next week :)

i got deathadder 3.5 g (same sensor as abyssus) and it works like a charm with goliathus SPEED

control sounds more sophisticated but it simply DOESNT WORK and it has been prooven a milion fucking times but ppl keep on bying this shit and i fucking bet u re goin to buy control too and its sucha fucking shame

i just got the abyssus along with the goliathus speed. on this mousepad it NEVER jitters AT ALL, atleast not @ 1800 or 450 dpi (havent tried 3500 but why would I). works PERFECTLY.
on the qck+ it jitters like hell and the mouse is impossible to use on that pad.

could Razer have done it on purpose?

that said, i dont like the goliathus speed to much, the friction between the hand and the pad is to high :( maybe ill get used to it though

if they did it on purpose, it would be some sort of real achievement, positive or negative. it could also be very far from a real achievement if they lose sales because of it :P

Try a puretrak talent I guess. Same size n all as the razer pads. Similar design but smoother surface. Never had any problems on that thing with anything

you may not be aware of how sensitive the abyssus is to what surface you use it on :(

even old 3G sensors do when you move them in such an angle and so do mine abyssus/da3g
otherwise they did changes to the mouse or to the pad(mine are both the first versions there were when they just appeared)

question i need an answer on:
does the da have the same mousefeet as the salmosa/abyssus?

if you're talking about the shape, no. all 3 have different ones but i'd say you can stick any feet regardless. a friend of mine uses a DA with MS feet since he already had them and didn't bother ordering. looks weird but does the job.

lol he obviously removed the older ones. what actually happened for him was, apart from the skates being too thin and worn out, they had actually started simply falling off, as if the glue had dried up or something. this only happened to the 2 in front. he had 5 MS ones already (SteelSeries give 5, never understood why), so he removed all 3 stock feet and put the MS ones on. here, i've done a rough job to show you what it looks like.
