yes, all matches that are not broadcasted by ESL TV can be broadcasted by anyone who wants, just contact xou or me about the details and we set it up.

We are also currently setting up a twitter feed so we can announce all broadcasts to our website and over the web.

Also nice to see an American LAN championship coming. It's good for their community. I hope we can keep on having competition between the US and EU. Looking even more forward to see China/Asia join this group.

Looks like a really good matchup!

Just how good do ppl think zsx is? Iirc he had a very close game against bodzo a while ago, and they made quite a lot of mistakes, particularly on t9? I think 2GD and joe casted it...

So Cooller is going to rape him probs?

It will be an ESL TV studio event. We will also have the Asian Championship in February. The World Championship will take place in Hanover at CeBIT 2010. We have an entire CeBIT hall at our disposal there.

I'm excited its in my city don't get me wrong, but this venue is a joke!

Basically, you're surrounded 360 degrees by thousands of pre-teens and zombie shoppers... this is the loudest place in the mall...tell all the players to bring those helicopter head phones or you won't hear an effing thing.

So we just show up and can watch on big screens or is there a spectator area? What time are the matches etc?

I'm not bad mouthing canada, friend...please read. When you're a professional, and you're performing, the venue plays a huge role in how well you can execute your skills.

As a gamer and knowing how much sound and extraneous visual noise can affect your concentration, I was simply pointing out that putting these professional gamers, competing in a national qualifier, inside a mall, more specifically in an ice rink in the center of the mall where thousands of people walk by every hour does not create a professional environment from which these players can perform optimally.

You can argue that as professionals they ought to be able to perform in any situation, under any circumstance, but thats BS. Put them in a quiet, dark auditorium so they can focus on the game 100%.

With recent events, video quality of quakelive.tv and dreamhack official streams, the ESL TV low quality one is simply unwatchable. Definitly wont make me think well of ESL.

At least put some high picmip which should improve poor visibility of such low quality stream.
