You've been saying that for quite some time, and it simply isn't true. Things might have been better at the very top end at some point, but that's hardly what makes a good channel.

I miss those days when I used to play Entropia 12 hours every day. I miss those days when i used to smoke weed and play Lineage II all the time. I also miss the days when I spent most of my free time playing DotA and Counterstrike. I also miss the good old ut2k3 days. I miss my Ultima Online addiction too. And chatting to my old UT clan on irc all day. And the Diablo 2 all nighters. But there is one thing i miss even more. The time when i used to have a real life :'(

I had to playtest GE so I kinda missed out on what it would have been like to play it as a consumer. Best game I shamelessly affiliate myself with though :)

Ironic really, it was nearly canned, and it was done by a handful of grads who had never worked on a videogame before.
To make it even worse the multiplayer was hacked in about 6 weeks before the end. I mean they broke every rule in the book and made one of the best games of all time.

No one on that team will ever work on a more successful videogame.

It was nothing in comparison to PC FPSs at that point though. Its cult status is entirely down to the fact it was a console game.
