I guess its probably a spoofed sender or some disgruntled ex-emplyee.

Yeah I'm getting this too but not with the email I thought I use to register at the CAL site.

seems as if cal/cpl sold the mailing list to get a lil extra cash as it shut down

I guess Severity has to be financed in one way or another.
