You play ctf with cpma ?

yes and yes.

Season 2 started 27th of August 2006 and CPMA was the mod of choice. Since then, no one has played CTF using OSP in Australia (edit: online anyway.. no idea about private lans).

maybe you can try to talk with europeen admin to force CPMA for CTF in CB net leet jolt and ku3

It always suprised me that whenever I read any news about European CTF, the mod being used was still always OSP.

Surely with the vast distance between different nations (and obviously the players), you would opt out for a mod that supplies a far superior netcode, even if the movement feels a bit different? We had whine and what not about the movement for all of a couple of weeks, if that - and then everyone was used to it.

Maybe its time for your leagues to swap mods?

You can pretty much do every single jump on every single map within the space of a day of trying (Unless you suck at learning things quickly) and the speed difference is practically non-existant.

The only concern I would have if I was an OSP CTF die harder is that the MG/LG will become too powerful and there will be less caps.

the only map that has some jumps that arent possible anymore are c2 i think.
And less caps then zero aint possible anyway ;p

dont know about you, but i'd say if played q3 online like 100 times mroe than on lan, so for me the lan experience isnt as imporant as the online experience.
sure, the real competion is at lans and bla bla... heard this so many times, but its kind of a phrase with nothing behind it. cause most ppl never even play q3 on lan.

As I said, that's not the point. The point is, regardless if you (or anyone) has EVER played on lan, being able to play like you were on lan (meaning you'll will HIT where you AIM) is what it's supposed to be.

as long as data packets need time to get form a to b there wont be a "hit where you aim".
i know that cpma does a pretty good job in that, but its still not like it should be and it never will be. unless of course your okay with unlagged netcode that lets you hit here the client draws the enemy, which is kind of a network hack
