Sorry but this is NOT up there with the best ET movies. Personally I think ET movies are a long way behind RTCW and Quake movies, but this one just got boring.

It's a clan war not pub, so there's more to it than just camping. Your team are effectively playing 5v6 whilst you're panza.

You've then gotta have the positioning and timing, plus the teamplay to setup the shots. Good luck getting a 4 man vs idle.

Same as anything spam based, may be 'unskilled' - but you can be skilled at.

it's prolly very leet and stuff, just doesn't like look it for none ET players :)

ye, got really bored half way trough the movie all the panserfaust shooting... not really hard to camp around a corner and kill 5 people with a rocket.

Thats why it almost never happens, et-players must suck :))

It's like being a football forward. It's not hard to shoot the panzer, but you have to be there.

I love this movie, based entirely on the entertainment value it gave me. It's not showing the insane SMG-aiming skills like players such as mystic, teKoa or butch etc.; it does however show something, which ever since the removal of level-ups, is a very rare breed in Enemy Territory... teh panzahfaust :)

Some people say that mika's "born to be lame" is a better panzer movie and I agree on that to some extent, because it was a different time back than in 2004, with the level-ups everybody had a panzerfaust running around in both offence and defence.

I liked the mix of music in this movie and also the very well done camera scripting.

I could go on... but nah :)

I definitely have to [+] this comment. I am really impressed too by the movie however watching Winghaven on ETTV in some officials is just far less impressive (I will even say kind of disapointing). My point is that playing pf for years in so many pracs provide a nice content for such a movie but is it that skilled ?
(sorry but I am part of people who think that this player is quite overrated).
But the movie is really awesome as the movie created by mAx of mika :>.

pretty decent editing but not so cool stuff in it... the lamest kills possible with pazerfaust and air strikes i had ever seen. ofc it was the intent but they are nothing special.

Some might claim that thier game > another game, but claiming that there is no skill in a game, that is just plain ignorance :)

I know this movie is not a "normal" because there aren't 3 headshots frag and smg multikills, but that's my work, take panzer and try to take down the max. players I can, or camp with airstrike, and it's a thing I love to do and I know it looks not so hard, but believe me, it is :P. throw an airstrike and take 4 players from TOP clans is not really easy work, and if you do that in the exactly part of the match, you can win thanks to that.

And that is exactly how it is in et, only one person per team can have pf. Are you getting it now?

No, of course not. pf is always assigned to the player who has the lowest skill and if possible never played it before.


on a sidenote, just saw that you put an emphasis on "can" while for some reason thought it was on "everyone". Which renders my comment somewhat useless.
I still think your initial statement does a good job of displaying your ignorance in this game, or does the quad add a 1 second delay to the rl and only give you one shot?

I can tell that you havent played ET ;).
I played panzerfaust in few clans and I can tell that it is a biach job, cant handle it. If you miss your team is playing 5vs6 and time is going and going. Killing top clans with pf is something really raelly awsome skill. Well now im playing as a medic, revive 4eva ;)

Once I killed 2 idle guys with pf, but that was just luck :).

Heh yeah and the true skill is also not to wipe out your team-mates :D

i don't play et and i really enjoyed this movie. image quality was very very nice.

Talk about an overpowered weapon..

The movie was nice and all, but it should've been half the length since I got bored watching the same stuff over and over again. Indeed it doesn't seem that skilled to jump up and have a triple-quad damage rocket kill the entire team. The real skill is to predict and put 3-4 rockets in the same (boosted) guy.

2 people who never played Wolfenstein games:
Panzerfault is a tactical weapon. It does have a HUGE blast radius compared to quake rockets, but it recharges 20 seconds, slows down players movement, and doesn't fire instantly. It takes skill and overall game smarts to master this weapon. Plenty of people are great with q3 rockets, but not too many great panzers are out there. The content of the movie is truly great with regards to the gameplay.

This is probably one of the best movies of RTCW and ET. Even tho most of the et movies are trash, I really enjoyed this 1.

ofc showing an ET panza movie here in the quake kingdom can t make you guys shiver.

i m the very kind of ETplayer thinking that a panzer is useless 99/100 of the map. if the shoot is a miss, the team plays 5against6 for the next 30s . i hate that as ET is mostly crossfire and teamplay.

now concider that winghaven is playing with some high level players.
i bet that if these guys trust him with a pf and let him play it, it s because he s getting results.

it s far from the best ETmovie simply cause it only shows a very small part of the game but to me it s the best in genre.
