yeah, nowhere does it say who made this... but i would be able to guess who it was. i also know who made some of the others.

this is the best one in my oppinion! you can see alot of effort went into this... he stuck to the ESR theme colors and logo, he must have modeled the logo in 3D and then converted it to vectors. i also like how its subtle and can easily sit on my desktop with space for the icons on the left... this is the only entry thats good enough to become ESR's official wallpaper.

You don't need ANY 3D to do that.

it looks pretty 3d... especially the little logo at the bottom right. have a look at the full size version. otherwise, i would like to know how to do that in 2D!?

just because it looks 3d doesn't mean it needs to be modeled in 3ds max from the scratch. this isn't too hard for anyone half decent with photoshop to do. i've done quite a bit like this in the past myself. however, this entry does look better than a lot so it gets my plus.

Well I dont think thats the problem, but defending this against entry #36 is stupid. We can all see and judge for ourselves. This entry is good, however there is no need to spam it and rally minions to vote for this and show their appriciation for this entry with their first few posts on esr.
