galang looked kinda good :) rest was rather zz. I wonder if you ever get the chance to move like this in a game? All I ever see in Q4 is sneeking around corners trying to avoid getting pixelrailed from half across the map.

well, usually when u running around trying to get spawn frags, and collecting items from under the other guys nose

also if you remember q3, competition games were almost the same :D

most of those placebo tricks were possible in 1.2 as well, not as easily though

yup, i know :D and the jump from YA to 2x25 healths was possible before the "fix" too!

now u just gain crazy speeds

wsw is far more impressive, u can actually use the moves in that game.

q4 movement is so clunky.

well obviously but the movement can be mastered to such a point that it would almost seem that way :) think about it, who's stopping people sliding around corners sideways or backwards or diagonally and aiming at locations to hit a shot thru a crack or for covering themselves all while keeping the speed, it is possible, just requires practice.

yea man this looks cool, but not sure what you have against wsw/cpm/qw style movement, what you are doing here is like a crippled/awkward/limited version of that

i've always thought q4 movement is much more interesting than the bland vQ3, its just a shame the engine is a POS

i have nothing against the movement of those games, actually i love the movement in qw and cpm i dont have an oppinion on warsow cos ive not really played it :) what i'm doing here is trying to push quake4's movement so that maybe trickers do something with it, move on from q3 and make a whole new community in q4, there is so much potential.

i love watching crazy moves in qw and cpm, and q3. i'd love to watch some in q4 too :)

as for the engine, well, only time will tell. you never know it might get fixed :)

looks nice but, u could do the same in qw/cpm without the extra key bind :P

This is a bit harder though, with the limited crouch distance and you having to be on ground to do it etc :D

Didnt say it wasnt harder, just you need an extra bind, like warsow always annoyed me having to have a bind i use alot but it feels awkward

i think it's actually harder to do it in quake 4 :)

cooller did the circle jump to mega on monsoon in 1.2, but 1.3 it's much easier =)
