So CPL announces that it will use Q3 as it's game and suddenly there are masses of Q3 demos being posted.. wonder how long it will be before all the hype dies down.

No just making a point that games and gamers go through fits and spats. I don't think the the activity in q3 is purly due to the fact that there are no big competitions as the vast majority of quakers will never get to them.
