Not sure if joking or not, but nevertheless: When recording in Wolfcam the fps will show whatever you want the movies framerate to be. So he probably played with 125 and recorded it to 60 fps.

They are talking about cl_maxpackets, which *apparently* if set to the minimum (63?) makes you harder to hit for your opponents.

Strenx got his rep as a good aimer in duel, not Tard Arena or whatever this was.
What seperates a good player from all the rest is they can aim while doing lots of other things, in a mode like this, the other things are stripped down and it becomes little more than a tard fest.

Aim doesn't make someone a good player given most decent players can aim within 8% of each other across every weapon, its the BRAIN aspect that makes someone good, and that was all but removed. So pointless in referencing a good player, becuase as I said, the factors that make strenx a good players are by large removed. if you think aiming is all about pointing a cross hair then you clearly don't know about things like positiong which is worth far more, and something this simple mode/level design could not deliver.

not really. anyone who's best at controlling quad & has decent aim wins FFA, whereas CA requires a team effort.

You can't really control quad in FFA vs decent opponents as they know the same thing and the timings are somewhat random and due to the amount of players you get raped if you camp anywhere for long, so if you're getting it consistently, you're doing something right or playing vs idiots. Plus many maps do not even have quad. all part of your biased insight.

Team games have people who can bail you out. You can be carried in team games to victory, the same cannot be said for FFA or Duel.

You know what's funny? If it were you beating strenx on CA you would have a completely different view on this. :)

fyi: most duelers tend to have shit aim overall and end up getting rolled in CA & other mode anyways. they then begin to complain/whine why X mode is inferior to duel, make excuses, etc etc. not all, but most. there's a handful of duelers who actually have good aim and can play sufficiently well outside of duel too.
