So you've spent 50 euros for food and beers at a sports bar/restaurant. You buy one more overpriced beer and walk to your table but OMG you spill the entire beer. Should the bartender pour you another one free of charge?

You remember when the five year old kid accidentally dropped his ice cream and cried to his mother? The clerk gave him another one. Not because he legally had to, but because he wasn't a complete idiot and had a clue on how to run a proper ice cream stand.

I don't see that being a problem. In any case he should then be able to make a judgement call. He knew our hero wasn't abusing. In the end he loses way more money than one more glass would've cost him.

over here, if you spill your drink right after getting it and in front of a bartender, they usually pour you another one free of charge (unless you're ordering something real fancy). of course, this is only when it's truly accidental and not because you're piss drunk.

nope. not afaik at least. i haven't come across anyone so far but then i've never really paid attention either. however, many Indian people in their 20s or 30s have relatively high tolerance for alcohol. the legal drinking age is not strictly adhered to in most places, making alcohol easily accessible for minors. by the time they're in their 20s, their bodies have gotten used to booze. i was drinking in bars when i was 16.
