why would it? sujoy sold his shares long ago afaik?

yea Sujoy might actually have some time for the website :)

totally predicatable...

Not surprising, even the local Crack-head has a pc and high speed access these days.

Dominic and I left before the Birmingham store opened because of the way it was being run. Anyway it has nothing to do with ESR.

Send them some flowers and a note saying "I told you so!" :P

"How do you tell someone, that you care about, deeply, "I told you so". Gently? With a rose? In a funny way? Like it's a hilarious joke? Or do you just let it go. Because saying it would just make it worse.

Probably the funny way."

<3 Michael Scott :D

I love (and hate) that show!

shame, i really enjoyed going to harrow, as my uni connection was firewalled

uh oh, where will they hold CGS combines now?! ;)

perhaps @ gamerbase ?

It's not really an events venue, not as big as OS in Birmingham...

yeah bit too small for cgs

.

ESR will be fine
we just need more Arktik and Walter threads
we'll stay afloat just fine

I wish people would stop trying to kick start esports, it's not happening. Either wait for the right opportunity or have so much money that you can piss it away indefinitely 'til people just accept it.

like the arabs that have bought cpl ?

.

what has gaming centres to do with esports?

what about a bunch of lads getting together and shooting eachother heads off someplace where they dont have to carry their computers, sleeping bags etc and sit in a dirty basement?

personally, the older i get, i tend to enjoy gaming in smaller doses... places like this are perfect for a guy like me in ~5 years time.

The market is TINY in the UK as a whole.

my point was gaming centres hasnt got much to do with esports

They are linked though.

yeah can be. doesnt have to though.

Do any gaming centres actually have a steady stream of income ?
Your average internet coffee shop maybe but a gaming centre ...

The ones in large malls where parents dispose of their kids and go shopping.

its hard because of 2 reasons

1. promoting the place costs time and money
2. working at such a place gets boring very easy.

oh yeah, just remembered i had money in an account there. i want my £2 back!!!
