That comment says it all, anyone who uses an allsop clearly likes a certain amount of friction. Newsflash: everyone in the world is not the exact same.

I used allsop mats for a long long time, and although they're not the best for low sens, they're wonderful if you try and crank up your sens, or use mouse accel. I concur; everyone is indeed not the same.

Actually you have a good point there, for low sens they might be annoying but since I use accel I love them.
