I don't know how alone I am in feeling this, but I've loved Quake since the qw days and quake 3 for me was everything that I wanted, and for thousands, if not millions of other people.

Quake 3 just felt like a snugly fit glove. Everything about it was perfect, from the physics to the community..... but quake 4 just feels so lame, like the developers have gone for a UT approach, it just really sucks balls, enough for me to be posting about my disdain and loathing of it.

Goodbye Quake, you were everything, but like all good things they must come to an end. My hopes were high, and I thought they would be met but as fate would have it, they weren't met.
