Izn0 of Gamers.nu has released an interesting article/interview on the Quake legend, Sweden LakermaN, talking about his life in the Scene and where’s he gone on from since his days as a “pro-gamer”. There isn't a lot I can say except for go and read it, but here’s a quote:
And LakermaN was the best of the best, beating SK|Kane (yes SK as in Schroet Kommando), in a final that was so close that he through the rest of his gaming carrer, despite the tournament being for no money, would recall it as his greatest moment. Having been to probably more major events around the world than anyone else in the eSports scene I've yet to see an event with more atmosphere than as the timelimit of that match hit, the air was so full of electricity it still gives me chills today when I think about it. As an interesting side note I can add that one of the other 10 invited players was none other than Xenon, nowadays of 4Kings fame.
Followed by the article there’s a short interview with the man himself when Izno visited him in Gothenburg, Sweden in search of some online poker tips: full article.
