Really glad they took abso so we couldn't play in EMS. Looks like they used him well..

What does a team of mercs even mean? Is there a team nowadays that isn't a "merc" team (except xt). Thing is we have tried to get a 5 player lineup together for a long time before the season but first bf "stole" hazrd from us and then metsu "stole" dibbe from us just before the season started so we were stuck with 4 players again. Then the season started and we had only 4 players so where wasn't much we could do. I think everyone knows that 4 players isn't really enough to get a pcw or a match (1 is always missing). Instead of calling us pathetic (see doz3r) maybe you should try blaming the players/teams that left us into this situation.

cooller/cypher/av3k? at least 2 of them have already played for you, iirc.

I'm just assuming that foppa was the one who would constantly get on cooller's nerves so that he'd play ... ;)

about the pathetic part, i mean Fronts past history (dropped during CB Opencup playoffs, dropped during EMS VI playoffs and dropped during EMS VII groups)...

Well we are blamed for the fact that iM can't play in the EMS even though abso joined FRONT like 6 months before the season started. They had plenty of time to get a replacement for him but didn't. Now when 2 players from FRONT join another team just before the season started, apparently it's our fault again. Kinda double standards don't you think?

Last EMS ended in July and this current one started in October, not 6 months. We don't find it easy to get new players. I didn't like the way frozen courted abso before the EMS was even over just because they couldn't reach the playoffs.

We came 3rd in EMS last time and 2nd in Clanbase. Front dropped this and last time in both competitions. I think it was a mistake for abso to join a lower level team, but maybe his style is more suited to a pickup play style anyway.

It's kinda your team's fault they won't play for you, even though there's money involved, isn't it?

Money what they never payout... : ) EMS didn't pay last year, ENC neither, ESH Kingston cup neither. Kinda ridiculous.

I'm really busy with my work nowdays, and I don't want to continue quakelive on a pro (semi-pro) level. But I will try get av3k, cooller, wit, abso, dash together for EC play-off matches.

God, I hate missing playoff matches because admins can't be bothered to tell us when they will be played.

Teams are having hard time scheduling matches, I gave up trying to give accurate times a long time ago.

Just check the match pages for the latest known dates.

if you're too busy, lazy or whatever, get some other admin to do it.

The CB admins are doing a better job at the moment even though there's no prize money involved or anything.

you're the admin. you've been doing it for the group stage.

if you really want someone else to do it, you should at least make an announcement that you stop the coverage so that people actually REALIZE that they might miss the playoff matches because of you.

I was not the admin when this season started. esd was, then he quited and someone had to take over. So I did at the beginning of the playoff. I've not posted about the group stage on ESR.

What's there to "take over" if you don't take care that the matches are scheduled decently nor (want to) provide any coverage for them?

How can you give up "a long time ago" on something you just recently are responsible for?

I was the admin for season 5 and 6. Then I stopped and esd became the admin for season 7.
