I'm really disappointed about this id choice, tbh.
With over 100 clans signed, this cup has so much potential to be a really epic fun cup and it's really a pity to waste it with such FFAish tdm settings.

What are id motivations to keep public settings also in this competition? I mean, clanbase got private servers, only official matches are supposed to be played there, no casual gamers are going to play there. So what's the point?
It's quite obvious that when private servers will be available for final users, tdm standards will become the same as q3 ones: timelimit 20, weapon respawn 30, mg starting ammo 50.
In addition ql has weapondrop that can eventually offer new dynamics to team gameplay.

So, if you agree with me, and since we're still in time to change things, join this request to id software in order to change settings for Clanbase Quake Live Featured cup TDM 4v4 to:

- Timelimit: 20 minutes
- Weapon Respawn: 30 seconds
- Machinegun starting ammo: 50 bullets
