I finished my second gaming movie. This movie contains CPMA frags on cpm3. It is a bit different than most movies though, you will notice it when you watch it.

The size is 76MB for 03:32 minutes of viewing pleasure, which is pretty reasonable in my opinion.

I've already started on a new movie which will be bigger than both my first and this movie, but don't
expect it to be released anytime soon, still alot of work needs to be done.

For the time being, enjoy this short movie and feel free to leave some comments here.

Narrowly missing the ESMA 2003 awards, this is the first major gaming motion picture event of 2004. Representing the first foray into the world of UT performance arts by SiT, the world-renowned Quake 3 artist, this film showcases unique innovation, bravery and the disturbing results of momentum-based movement deprivation.

This vid got it all: intro, cool frags, nice music, little fun and outro. Please check it out and read (and add) the comments at badct.de.

I believe this is a Quake 3 movie like no one you've ever seen before. Why?

Insanely nice frags? No.
State-of-the-art editing? No.
Scenes from a long lost demo from two of the worlds greatest clans ever? Y..err...No.

This movie is a recording of a 20 minute long standard Q3 Team Deathmatch
4on4 between two Norwegian Clans from back in 2002. The point of view is at
all times from the eyes of one of the four players on Clan Armageddon,
playing against Reptile. What makes this special, is that you also get to hear
our team voice communication, since a microphone incidentally recorded the
entire session.

So if you want a lesson in excellent team play on OSPDM6 - don't download
this film (we lost;) - BUT if you're keen on hearing how Norwegian quakers
sound when they get railed sideways, this is the one for you! ;)

Length: 25min 14sec

PS: The two clans were actuyally two of the best in Norway at the time of the game, so the match is intense and pretty close. A lot of prestige on stake :p

Lineup CA: Nilzor, Pettern, paven, mastah^killah
Lineup Rep: Abax, Elnino, maase aka trekvart, krabbe aka mean

First vo0 now pez?
Yes it is for real! Just a couple of days after vo0´s cpma movie pez is releasing his collection of frags gathered from CPMA players around the globe.

Quote from planetquake3.net
A CPMA frag movie featuring fake_id, gellehsak, minky, 2bad_, loosec, pez, fac, snapcase and sai. The frags were done in clan-arena, 1vs1 and tdm, and ctf pickup games. The movie includes the following maps: pro-q3dm6, ra3map1, cpm3a, ninemilctf2, q3wcp9, cpm21 and others. The movie conatins many mid-air rockets and lots of nice rail shots.

At last, I finished my CPMA frag movie. I wanted to release it before the start of 2004, but there were some things coming between it.

It's finally done and I've spent so many hours syncing the ingame sounds with the images, the music with the frags, recording the sounds, cl_avidemo'ing etc etc...

Its duration is 12:03 and the filesize is 299MB. I know, the filesize could have been reduced a little, but I think it's ok.
All the frags are my POV, but there's also some little out-side-the-person action in it.

I hope you like it and please leave some comments on what you think about it in the comments section ;)

[update2]
loosec's mirror is down, but I added a very fast new one, thanks to evilstev3n!

With the M19 CUP around the corner, M19 has now released their movie, showing the best frags of their 1.5 history., including when they won WCG2002.

The movie feature Nook, Rider, Rado, Madfan and Kalbi4, and with frags against clans such as SK, eoL, matrix, ocrana and many others.

The best frags are combined with some nice editing, HLTV use, and even som ingame sound.

No, it isn't a frag movie were you show-off you can shoot better then anybody else and it's also not a show-off movie how you can jump l33ter then anyone else. It's a big real-life parody on the game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and can be classed as one of the funniest movies made in the history of RTCW/ET.

The .avi movie is 5 mins, 10 secs long (80megs in size) and requires the DIVX codec.

On behalf of my IRL-friend and clanmate of my clan Northern Darkness, I would like to get nd2.LaZ' great piece of work out to a larger audience by posting it here aswell. It's a Soldier of Fortune 2 movie, containing a few spectacular effects, nice editing, and in opposition of most videos where you see a head sticking up a mile away being taken off by some random pro-aimer, actually entertaining frags, quite a few explosions and up-close camera angles. Lots of variety compressed into 5:32, and in my opinion a step forward in SoF2 movie-making.

So far it has been getting great feedback and quite a few downloads in short time. To sum it up, I'd like to quote own-age himself:
Northern Darkness is a sof2 video produced by nd2.LaZ showing off some serious sof2 gameplay along with some real nice effects. All wrapped up into a dark theme of music. You don't have to be a sof2 junkie to enjoy this fine piece of work.

Stumbled across this on a Polish site. The intro's a touch on the long side, but it's well worth sitting through it to get to the meaty bits.

With effects done in the same style that The Badge used it's a great-looking movie, but unlike Badge's faked (or choreographed, if you prefer) combat the frags here are all from real games.

The player list alone should give you a good idea of what to expect: Apheleon, El Pajuo, matr0x, mess, rat, vo0, ZeRo4, and zoom. I mean, how could you go wrong with a lineup like that? :)

Props to Hakan for a really nice piece of work.

This Romanian frag movie by vTx is the last movie from the "Happy" series. The movie features frags from 1v1 and 2v2 games with lots of cool camera angles. The high quality and great editing of this video makes it a must watch.
