I was thinking about doing a video showing off some frags for quite some time, but never found the motivation to start. A few weeks ago, callisto released some decent Tutorials on www.justunreal.de (mad shouts to him!), so I decided to give it a go.

Actually I am quite satisfied with the results as they are now, I hope you are too!

I made a World of Warcraft video on how to reach the secret island south of Kalimdor as well as reaching the end of the world. Took quite a bit of nifty tricks to reach it, including waterwalk, swiftness, reincarnate and more.

It uses the 3ivx D4 4.5.1 Pro Video Codec.

StyleP presents: Obliterate - Q3 Movie

We are really proud to present our first official Quake III Arena movie, Obliterate. Starts off with the Style-Productions promo movie followed by an good original intro on the bridge. In the main part we see some amazing frags synched lovely to the music from the well known Command & Conquer series, Hell March.

The name and map layout is cool and dont interfere with the action on the screen which will blast you away, until it goes over to the dm6tour. Highspeeded minutes taking you through the map Q3DM6 is what waits you now. The music flows good with the pace while you fly around and experience frags the way they are supposed to be shown. From right to left, up and down, you are everywhere having rockets flying by and people being railed over there. It is great. Another unique idea from the creator. Then it is over, and the credits starts to come while showing some of the sickest lightning frags, along with a good quad run. A really good movie so turn your sound up and ride away!

French Quaker TomBoss has just released a new Quake III Arena movie containing "sweet frags and never-seen-before Tricks/Fastcaps" about the quakers in the french city Lyon. The movie was captured at an incredible 45fps and with high quality encoding making it a massive 527mb.

Smireboule has created Smireboule CameTrace 3D v0.98 for recamming in ET. Hopefully he'll create versions for RTCW and Quake 3 too. The camming is so smooth and precise, I hate to say it, but it puts defrag recamming to shame. Check out the trailer and see for yourselves and let's hope we see a Quake 3 version soon. It could bring a whole new life to Quake 3 trick movies.

OdB went to the CPL UK Qualifier a few weeks ago, invited by the lovely chaps of Game Frontier. On this event some of Europe's finest clans battled on the Counterstrike sneakin-and-a-campin-fields (I kid!) for a ticket to the CPL Winter 2004 Championships in Dallas.

There was also a major Painkiller Tournament from which the two top players could score a yearlong contract with Brittish topclan (and winners of the CS Qualifier) 4Kings.

The movie features interviews with 4Kings, French clan GoodGame (nice lads), the two Painkiller winners Zaccubus and Razorb, organiser Jaffer Mir (Gamefrontier), an executive from Dell and a very strange man that seemed to wander the hall without clear and defined purpose, G3X from Sogamed (funny dude though). As added bonus, SnoiD is wearing a lovely kilt, made by nimble scottish children.

Freshbeat Productions announces that our second UT2004 movie production has been completed and is ready for download. The movie was edited and created by me. Most of the frags featured are from the point of view of dawgpound and I, along with frags from toque, bleh, GiMiX, and smooth. No Escape 2 comes in at 228mb, requires the Xvid codec, and has a running time of 8:38.

All of the frags that are featured are from TDM or 1v1 matches and scrims, or lan competitions such as WCG.

This is the dSiL instagib movie. It contains, many good and Very lucky frags (mostly made by me haha), all put together in a very fun to watch manner. This movie was also made to show that even for insta there is a variety of playing / frags (to convince the nw'ers :P), and that an insta movie doesnt have to be boring!
It's put together in different sections, of type of frags, or "frag moods" I think it should be in ones' UT movie selection for sure!
