After a month of more and less work, i finished my little ETF and CPMActf Movie.

don't expect too much. as i didnt want to spend so much time on it, i watched quite few demos and therefore its nothing special.
but still, i think it became a really nice little movie :)

It was also meant to be a little ETF promotion movie, thats another reason i kept the ETF action quite low. its already confusing enough for people who don't know anything about ETF.

The CPMA part is
a) to show you my leet skills ;)
b) because im playing CPMctf and this movie is also about me
c) to get more attention on ETF by other gamers.

This movie is made in the memory of the russian Q3 server Q3.DEMOS.SU which was created on January 5th 2000 and terminated May 1st 2004.

Maybe you have seen the trailer that was released some time ago, and if you enjoyed that, you should download this movie. It's not a frag movie, so don't expect any frags. But if you like gaming movies in general, and Q3 this is a must-download.

Kaktuz, from Clan Vexillum, has released a new ETF movie called: Instinct. The movie features a lot of nice action like Air rockets, flag capture and shows some nice moves too. Music is very nice, Editing too. Give it a try!

The movie runtime is around 16 minutes and the size is ~400MB.

This movie is the second movie from Kaktuz so far. He also released the movie 'bloodflower' a few years ago which is still amazing.

This is a Half-Life 2 adaptation of a scene from the movie A Few Good Men

"Hey gang, this is my first crack at making movies with the HL2 engine. I originally thought this would be a quick "two-weeks" maximum project ("hey, the phoneme editor practically does all the work for you!"), but turned into a 2 month learning experience. I probably would have hesistated had I known what I was in for, but thought this would be a good test project (and didn't you always want to see the G-Man get grilled?)."

You know, having been back home for a few days now and watching this clip, I can't actually remember wtf we were laughing about... but anyway, here is carmac in wheats bedroom having a laughing fit.

At the begining i wanted a movie without a real content, then i noticed i was missing some ideas and bacchus purposed me his demos few days earlier, so i inclued them to enlarge the movie ;p. By the way don't try to find a link between the differents scenes/effects cause there's none, it has been made just for fun$$ and to keep my hands busy during those holidays.

French movie maker Tomboss has already released a ESWC 2005 movie; more of a short than a full feature but well worth the download.

The content consists of group stage one games, featuring highlights and kills from:

Running for a short 1:43 'ESWC poules' is rendered at a rate of 45 frames per second, with a resolution of 640x480 and compressed using xvid while boasting a clear, crisp and smooth image I can only hope he plans to release more.

ESR regular jamerio took a bit of time to record some of the live TsN streams of the CPL's previous tour stop; Sweden.

There are three games in total, the first two featuring both winner and first runner-up competitors Vo0 and fatal1ty along side a match up consisting of gellehsak and zyz.

And for good measure there are two interviews that have been recorded, one of which is with Vo0 after the finals and the other with fatal1ty, also of which I assume is after the finals.

JSS and myself perform tricks along the same lines as those seen in Ever Increasing Physical Abuse and Tales from the Void.

This work from Peyo focuses on frags from the French Quake 3 scene, with action from the many of the country's top players, such as thefou, link1n, appleseed, whylf and Zerg-Spirit, along with many others. It's a similar production to Lyon Connection, with effects kept to a minimum and the emphasis placed on showing the frags in all their glory (and they are generally of a mind-bogglingly high standard here). As such, the video was captured at an unusually high 50fps and consequently has the fairly hefty file size of 559MB.
