Event: ESWC 2003
This is the second group stage, where those who finish 1st or 2nd in the first group stage will fight for the eight playoff spots. Groups 1 and 2 seems to be the hardest ones on paper, while group 4 seems to be the easiest one.


The big surprise of this stage is that Netherlands R0X is out of the tournament. He would have needed to win the match against France pmcc and losing the first map with 6-7 sealed his fate. The frenchman now moves on to the next stage.

It was dramatic in group 4 with Austria zeta grabbing second spot over France thor through frag count, and having one netfrag better than the frenchman.

Germany frag^m managed to grab second place in group 3 after winning one map vs his clanmate Germany GitzZz, which managed to push him out of the reach of the chasing Canada dnx3.

Update: Seems the have been a change of who will go through. When two players were tied, apparantly the frag difference isn't the most important thing but the frag difference in the game those two players played against each other. This bold new interpretation leads to the french player France thor advancing over Austria zeta, and makes United States of America fatal1ty the new number one of group 1, bumping Netherlands Lauke down to second place.
