the funny thing is even with those results (and i was predicted to have higher than what i got, AAAAA ) i wasnt offered a SINGLE place in medical school.

Something has to be done about the shambles that is the A level system.

I mean i started ringing clearing and i already have 6 offers from universities for Biochemistry course.

Im now looking into engineering and will have to make my mind up in the next week.

What are the entry requirements for the med schools you chose? Was it the B in Bio that fscked you?

My mate got AAAA and is in at Cambridge doing Natural Sciences, he wants to do microbiology, curing diseases, that sort of thing, guess it's too late for you to apply for similar there?

A in Maths and Physics, B in French and Business Studies (both bent exams, woulda loved a C tbh, 7 marks off an A in French too, gutted :<), all A/S ;] despite the stuff about the pass rate going up yet again, overall A/S A2 performance was really bad at my sixth form, and at my old school, both good places too.
Gutted on the offers, the contention at my preferred unis I want next year is hardcore, should get the grades though just gotta do some non academic guff to stick on my UCAS.
Probally gonna resit 5 of my modules (at sumut harsh like £15/ea :|) just to easen the strain next year, but for now i'm just gonna continue to diss my pleb mates who got UUUE, EEEU, CCDD, DDEE, CDEE's, etc..., the list of crap grades goes on :]
