We have a new PTS update going live today by 5:30 PM ET/9:30 PM UTC. This update is a kind of a BIG DEAL as we're getting closer to the much requested TIMELIMIT DUEL mode!!! We're targeting sometime next week for the PTS update w/ the new mode. All this patch's details at the bottom.

I have just listened to podcast / several reviews on bethesda latest games, such as fallout 647 and elder scrolls blades.

You guys are royally fucked staying with bethesda.
It is one of the worst gaming companies that has competely degraded all the way down to the bottom.

And if there's someone who knows everything about degradation all the way down to the bottom, is the almighty God of War Sanchez.

Once you break through the bottom, you arrive to the very top.

i haven't actually played in a few months.
installed linux and qc wont run at more than 60 fps and there's also massive input lag.
i don't want to dual boot.

120 fps is not good anyway, you should be getting 240.

The game has about 30 bugs, about 50 things missing, about 20 balance issues, and it is being developed by one or one and a half, blind deaf retard who is not paid for his work.

low fps is good for practice. if i can 50% lg on 60 fps... when i have 240 i should be hitting about 90%

It works the opposite way, hitting on slower game is easier than on the faster one.

If I can hit 55% lg on 170fps in q4 1.4.2.
Then I will hit 146% lg on 60 fps in q4 1.3.0

So it's classic duel.... but the only thing different is the round system? I don't remember what champs were Rapha and Cypher using in q3/ql.

What was Sarge's ultimate? Puff from the cigar to gain health?

Was Toxic abusing slash in quake 4?

Where they were in q4?
Garbage level. They were losing games 30-0.

Tox sucks in QC, because QC is worse for aimers and more for ability based arcade.

cooller dominated the 1st q4 tourney.
then they changed the game speed/crouch slide.
seemed to lose interest after that.
i'm guessing he started getting serious pussy at that point.

The game got harder and he got thrown out top grade.
QC the game got back to trash casual level, and cooller is back into pro.

What was Sarge's ultimate?
His passive ability is to pick all items with the typical armor degradation in QL/Q3.

When I see these guys I always think that it's like as if someone threw a face in a swamp of lard, and it just keeps sinking.

Abilities are on and from what I saw on rapha testing the mode - you can't change the champion. Also worth mentioning that he didn't enjoy it that much from the looks of it.

For me a better variant would be 3 champs draft as now. Then you "unlock" one of your choice in private so you and your enemy won't know what the other picked first. At 3rd min you unlock one more and on death choose between those two, at 6 min the last one unlocks and you choose between all on death. The unlock timings will depend on the timelimit.

Classic duel with no abilities and single ql movement is desirable, but realistically will never happen. My variant will lead to more champs, more mind/tactical games, when what to unlock. Ofc id go with the laziest way.

I think they have to decide between +/-:
a) no champion changes with active abilities
b) champion changes allowed without active abilities

It's because some champions would make it easy to maintain your lead using active abilities. So you can make 5-10 frag lead and when you die change to Nyx and you can easily hold the score abusing her active ability.

I prefer option b because you can still adapt to situation which will make games more interesting but it won't influence the classics of duel.

Good point about the nyx switch if you are in lead. We will see how it will end up, hope it makes the duel mode better tho.

No QL/Q3 movement plz if it gets reduced to one movement type for duel. Why on earth would you want that to be the mutilated one instead the full dynamic quake airbunny....

Its not just mouse input lag, its also a fucking random sens, changing from server / server, game / game. The cursor feels floating and with some sort of negative acceleration. Mouse code seems to be deeply broken this game so no wonder aiming is screwed in game.
