That's why in both of them the RL and the PG are theoretically better (faster) than what they are in Q3.
The purpose of QL's so-called nerfs (hitscan) and so-called buffs (projectile) is to emulate Q3's weapon balance in an unlagged environment, but you just can't do that by tweaking some numbers here and there, that's impossible.
