it's boring solo, it's very fun in coop. don't know why but i like it. battlegrounds that is, never tried dayz and whatever the fuck there is

It's basically a boring modern version of Last Man Standing match that use to be in Quake / Unreal games where once you die you don't respawn back until eventually it's 1 vs 1 and one guy wins. I'm not sure if Freeze Tags wasn't a similar concept since I haven't played it in 10 years.

By the way the worst part of these games is they are designed by some indy schmucks and instead of borrowing a proven engine, they decide to make their own and that's where shit hits the fan. Even though I never played any of them this is what I gathered. The engine is a laggy turd that even with GTX99999 brings about 30-40fps randomly, it's terrible optimized so Ctrl Alt Delete is a must to stop the memory leak, hit registration is a joke, movement is a joke, server lag is a joke, the games are based entirely on buying skins to feed the jew developers,

These games actually have identical feel to a mod you might remember Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (SA-MP). And if you wonder what that was about. Imagine you are playing Quake or Unreal with 300 ping on a chinese server, your only weapon is the plasma / bio rifle / pulse gun while everybody else is with 10-20 ping and using light / rail gun insta hit scan weapons. How fun is that?

Why you have to heavily exaggerate and just outright lie? I question if you played for more than a few games got rekt and quit while you continue to tell people its shit?

Because it adds tension and thrills to the hunt?

Personally I'm not a big fan of h1z1 or pubg but I did play quite a lot of ARMA3 BR (originally made by PU). The realistic factor and tension of the battles is fun. It's a lot of walking but when you actually engage people or get engaged the thrill is great. Third person makes the other games really boring imo and gives it an arcady feeling. I guess it does make it a lot more noob friendly because you can just sit in houses and peek over walls without getting seen or shot.
Playing it in squads is great fun.

Yeah I understand the tension building up as the players get killed off but then when the gun fights do eventually happen there seems to be little skill involved as the engines are so bad.

Can't speak for h1z1 or pubg but in ArmA the mid to long range battles are pretty amazing. Close combat is really bad because of the engine.

dont know much about br type games, but dayz is similar, in that the main goal is pvping.

ive played it a bit and i have to say its one of the most intense gaming experiences there is.

what makes is so intense is basically the boring part of the game:
you invest 1-2 hours in gearing up and hoping not to die of other players, getting robbed, starving or freezing to death.
once you have your gear you start pvping, and every single encounter gets your heart racing, simply because you dont just spawn and run back into the action again. theres more risk than just having to wait until the round is over.

all these differenct br iterations are basically watered down versions of this principle. the most hardcore br game is probably the arma3 version, and then it gets more and more casual all the way to h1z1.

the idea of these gamemodes is to offer the level of pvp intensity that dayz has, without all the hassle of running around starving or freezing.
in br, theres weapons basically everywhere and you dont need food. there are alot of other mechanics but that is basically the jist of it. these gamemodes are made to stop you from running into a room holding down the fire button, because you've invested some time into your character and dont want to risk that much,

The game is just out yet and more enjoyable like other games.

The only stats that are important know are the kill / death ratio, because if you play longer than others the score will not tell always the truth.

The PvP start when landing + loading lag in the beginning, get chased from ppl while unarmed and funny things in between :D

UE4 has it flaws, like in The Culling for patches breaking shit and so on, hitscan detection can be high ping or server load.

At this moment, PUB has a problem with hit tetection around corners & with the shutgun's ... must be fixed

They will add advanced movement & fighting while unarmed & climbing, maybe this will come in the comming week as announced on twitter.
