How is the hype for Battlefield 1 here on ESR? I for one is a big fan of battlefield, and I love that they are going back to the WW-style and not going further into the sci-fi future stuff.

System requirements has not been officially announced. I am very curious what is recommended for BF1 though. Anyone think they got a somewhat accurate call on what it would be?

IM SUPER HYPED.

Bf2 was fun, but the netcode was meh. Bf3 and 4 on the other hand were very bad in every way imho (except graphics and sound).

Man, the servers ran at 10Hz... it was a shooter game and bullets could reach the enemy between two ticks... no more needs to be said imo.

I'm looking forward to it, love the setting and battlefield games in general. The only problem I have is they are releasing it within a week of titanfall 2 which I also want to be playing!

Let's hope they don't mess this up like stars wars battlefront. Speaking of which I'm pretty sure battlefield 1 will run the same as star wars.

I enjoyed it and played it alot, hence why I'm looking forward to the sequel.
As long as you can get games in the games you want to play, whats the problem?

I for one can't wait for a WW1/2 styled shooter to emerge again, If anyone remembers Medal of Honour Allied Assault. God damn that game was amazing.

Nothing beats the satisfaction of pulling back on those lovely bolt action rifles such as the M1903A4 Springfield and dropping the people.
