What about the g502?

I love the g502 features but the problem with that one is that my thumb is so large, that it rest on the side mouse button instead of into the space normally designed for the mouse.

The g402 is a more intermediate step, no? The g502 pretty heavy.

What mice have you used in the past? Which ones did you like?

I have had the Razer DA, Zowie EC1, mx518, 3.0. I loved them all. But the senor on the G303 has been the best. Just to small...

Me, i've found myself good with the Razer Abyssus (clawing) but before I was using a Logitech g300 with the same comfort

I just have a small nuisance with the shape of big mice like the MX518 (so also the G400) beucase I get some pain in the wrist sometimes.

I tend to palm with big mice, but still they are not as comfortable for me like smaller mice.

I had the same problem but only needed something slightly bigger and went for the abyssus 2k14. Totally happy with it, only gripe is that its razer and I can't turn off the breathing light without installing synapse which I don't wanna do. But the important things like the sensor, weight, buttons and shape are just right.

That is a deal breaker for me. :(

The light you mean? There are some rude solutions for that. You could put something above the led, like electric sellotape. Not the best solution, but something to consider. I did that even with the wmo, i too like a mouse without distracting lights and that doesn't look like a spaceship.
