Hope I wont see anyone whining about no (good) ctf maps next update.

i dont know..placing RA underwater like that is interesting and stuff, but it will make it so that 2-3players will have to secure that area/mid for the RA pickup.
I also think that it is a bit two big for 4v4 (just from watching vid, hard to tell until i play it tho).

I think these recent ctf maps try to emulate tdm/duel map structuring too much.
If you think about it, p1 / japanese castles looks really simple, but is by far the best ctf map in my opinion. And i don't see maps that try to emulate that design in anyway.

This is just me thinking outloud here. I just prefer simpler designs..there shouldn't be more 2 stories/levels in a ctf map imho.
I think all good maps always have only 2 levels , high or low.

But maybe it will work great for public 5v5 ctf which is still popular.

(1) My suggestion would be to replace the red with a medkit. Such a big item in mid to fight for tends to make the game more about mid then it needs to be.

I even enjoy the gawdawful map Ironworks more than c2 and p5 for this very reason.

(2) This is controversial for sure, but my 2c. It was suggested by cityy to make the map smaller. If you don't, consider making the map a multiple powerup map (regen at lg/mega - move lg to a spot closer to flag maybe). I just enjoy those maps more (castles, spider, finnegans and the yet to come to ql cp15) than single powerup maps. It just adds a lot of possibilities for creative teams.

(3) No funny weapons.

Would also not place red in the water, ģnstead i would replace the MH in base with a YA. The current RA turned into a medkit and add a YA on the platform above Quad.
Replace the medkit in the bases with a green armor, and add a regeneration in the room next to where I replaced MH. Theres a square on the floor next to the big pipe in the wall, perfect placement i think. Replace the chaingun with a grenade launcher or something.`

I don't think 3 levels is too many for CTF, i also don't think the map is too big, what I do suggest is to have a secundary way in base to go the to top platform. Currently there's only that one jumppad. Maybe you can use some of those pipes to make a (trick)jump up. Would suggest the same from the lower entrance furthest from the bottom jumppad. Ądd a piece of pipe or a light to jump up to the flag level.`

3. Well done once again, the map looks fresh and unique, and I believe with a couple of tweaks it could be perfect for both competitive as well as public CTF.
