Quakelive is down and I finally got some time to implement a script for QLRanks.com website. At the moment being, it works only with Firefox and Chrome. The compare feature is simple: go to a player profile, add it to the compare list and hit the "compare" button.
The initial release works only with duel stats and maximum with 2 players compared. Possibly I'll extend it also for other game modes. Any bug report/feedback is much appreciated.

PS. I'm not affiliated with the original QLRanks.com team, the compare feature is a proof of concept built with QLRanks exposed public data. Have fun comparing :)

you can't right now, I have to develop a slighty changed script in order to work also with Chrome and I will do it if there are enough people asking for it.

Install Tampermonkey, it manages userscripts and you can install this script.

Well not bad but e.g. for me this statistics is of little use, as I know weapon accuracies are highly depandant on the players' skills you play against. What would be way more useful is head-to-head comparison of the players (see atptennis.com for instance) that means matches between the two and grouped statistics gathered from those data, which could include accuracy, damage, items, maps and many more u know.

yeah:) the same result like this script, can be achieved just by opening two windows with 2 players you wanna compare, and for me it's even more comfortable as you don't need to go through some 'compare player list', which just makes the thing more complicated, which is IMO not what people want! :) Nice graphs tho, I like the colours

Yes I know and I think in that moment such comparison would be VERY useful. IMO now it isn't at all, but I can see you received a lot of nice comments and [+]es so other guys have obviously different opinion ;) As for me I wouldn't even major this, but if you come with head 2 head comparison as we described, you will receive lot of love including mine:)

this is spooky cause i was just thinking today that it would be nice to be able to compare players in qlranks..

then I checked this and saw it was more stats, what I had in mind was previous meeting results (list of all games played against each other and results), this is very nice too though!

so if that feature is added, it will be complete in my book!

although probably is a bad idea. people practice things on their main accs too, and the fact they have multiple accs gives very skewed details.

Very nice! Still need an option to see history between two players - i.e., filter matches by player name. Would that fit in with your current design?
