Quake Live DUEL tournament MAYHAM will hit Prague eSports club DISTRICT.Prague on Saturday, 4th of May. It is held on the occasion of 31st B-DAY of Hawr1x, guy that didn't do anything special for Czech and European Community.

Registration fee is set to 20 €uros and Prizemoney will be 400 €uros with whole half going to Winner of MAYHAM. Registration form. MAYHAM is mainly limited to

Czech and

Slovakian players, but if you would like to pay a visit and have some fun with us, you are welcome.

Thanks to our partner RAZER there will be hardware in almost same cost for top players and with pleasant company of HAM we are looking forward to enjoy great tournament in best gaming café in Central Europe.

Yeah, if MAYHAM goes well, I will do some bigger Quake Live event there ... maybe some TDM might sound good.

There are 50 pcs and during my tests at DISTRICT I had ping 15 - 18 @ German servers.

Prague is great place to be and since DISTRICT is located in shopping mall, you have all the restaurants one floor up the event.

is the owner a quake player or played quake years ago?

does it look like it is going to be going out of business soon? All those gaming cafes are doomed to fail because they don't get constant income and have higher prices, making them different than internet cafes.

Owners of that café are former TOP Call of Duty 4 players.

Iam Quake oldzkool and since I know owners, and I have interrests there with Razer Czech (where Iam working as community manager) Iam able to have whole weekend party in whatever game I want to ... Quake Live should be there

DISTRICT.Prague opened about 2 months ago with The Last Stand Call of Duty 2 tournament and since they were able to get about 800 000 €uros to build this place, I dont expect them to close soon.

Pizemoney for 32 players: 10 000 CZK = 400 €uro

1st place - 5000 CZK = 200 €uro + Razer Keyboard
2nd place - 3000 CZK = 120 €uro + Razer Headphones
3rd place - 2000 CZK = 80 €uro + Razer Mouse

+ HAM for players at event :-)

PS: Prizemoney will be payed right after tournament

this looks VERY promising. If you could get some sort of a bigger event off the ground there it would be sweeeeeeeeet. and I would definitely come to have 'a few beers' hehehehehehehe gonna try to watch this one if possible as well.

There are like 16 - 20 players, this list is not updated and many players will be paying after the entrance - it is CZ/SK LAN mainly - and to be true, I want to test the place and enjoy my B-DAY with some old friends, eat some HAM, drink BEER / RUM and play some QL :-)

if we go on lan in czech its -400(travel + eat, hotel) euro minimal - no reason ? yes / if lan event 2 k euro+ , we see kilsen cypher and other many top players on the world . ua ,by, russia - not go on this lan,MB :D
