It's not on consoles it's on Steam for PC, I played the Beta it was quite fun, even tough even QL can beat this game when it comes to being suited for competitions.

i'm somewhat confused... i think i tried a game called Nexuiz once, but it was diffrent from what I see on recent youtube videos. it looked much worse and was pretty dead when i tried it

This one is the comercial version of the old open source one. The owner of the brand sold it to a studio.

baksteen we had some topics here about the comercial nexuiz. the inactive main delevoper sold the name to a studio, he smelled money. people said the new pc game is broken. maybe they want the money from the consoles.

Nexuiz has Duel mode as DLC, such a shame. But still one time buy, not like some other game.

Whilst this game is pretty, it plays quite badly. The movement in particular is just weird and doesn't make any sense. Shame.

agree that the movement feels weird. i can't tell exactly what it is but i think it might be too much aircontrol. you can almost do a complete circle motion with a simple jump. feels weird.

How does a game like this get so many signups for a TDM tournament? Quake IS the absolute pinnacle of DM gameplay yet NA TDM tourneys for QL get 3 teams or less and then fail cause theres not enuff people. Are people really that scared to learn Quake in USA? This just fucking boggles my mind... like my head hurts right now D:

We got like, 5 or 6 byes since no one showed up... so really only 6 or 8 teams showed and played... and we got to the finals. My team (Men In Tux) will be playing on Aug 25 live on machinima network!
