yea its great again now =) coverage went a bit dead for a while but its busy again since zoot joined (Y)

props for the time they invest. I am sort of sad that I cannot contribute to the QL community anymore. Casting 6h straight is really a lot of work (not to compare to cast on lan events) but still, it is really a big effort and I greatly appreciate all the work lvl^ is still doing.

Quite simply, QL wouldn't be QL without lvlup! <3

Thank you so much to everybody that supports us. I have always felt Level Up TV is more of a community effort at broadcasting than anything else, and that is something I want to aim more for going forwards. Lots of interaction and feedback from the viewers, and opening up more as to what we plan to do.

I hope one day soon we can start to significantly increase the amount of hours we broadcast and the content we make, to a point that it could be a sustainable full time job for at least a few of us. It is maybe a pipe dream but I am willing to try it myself.

I'm not so sure... maybe 2-3 hours daily but anything more might just drain your energy and remove the aspect of uniqueness that lvlup currently has!

since 2gd became a fag, and joe went away it's been shit, but thx to zoot for stepping up, good show mate. always on, good streaming, good voice and some incite (needs to play more duel to get better at this)

most of the times it would be the same people....or it may be the VOD view count instead of the stream (or both combined)

Sad to hear that you feel that way. Holysh1t was trying very hard (and succeeding) to bring high quality streams to the community, but unfortunately some of our best people had to leave due to personal issues, jobs, kids ... I'm pretty sure lvl^ and holysh1t would both have evolved into the current high level of quality if HS was still as active as at the start.

Crystal_Method and FOR3CAS7 did excellent jobs and I'm still very grateful for all the work and effort they put in.

Well, maybe i did come off a bit harsher than necessary. I, of course, do appreciate everything that Holysh1t did for the community. It was a purely amature effort, privately funded and made possible by people passionate about QuakeLive - and i DO, as said before, appreciate that.

Thing is, LvL^ did everything better and on a higher level (no pun intended). I never got a feeling that HS tried to compete and up their game, they just sort of... gave up after a while.

That being said, i don't want to sound ungrateful, because HS brought many a great game to me and other QL fans for free and in good quality. I just think that LvL^ had the better attitude and potential from the beginning, and i think that is fairly obvious by now, considering how both projects went.

the banter between dis and vor is exactly what a quality stream needs, makes it so much fun to watch
