And the goddamned corrupted Romanian officials, who are at the verge of losing their chairs, are playing the good dogs on everything what the western powers want them to do. They signed ACTA without hesitation, and Traian Basescu, who is now the good dog reassured the Americans about his complete support regarding the anti-rocket shield system, because they think that in case of more serious uprising, the Americans will help him stay to power.
The American politicians always played the double agent role. Behind the media, the Americans gave money to the Romanian government to pay its security forces, but regarding their public position they condemned the corruption and we all know that they will not budge any further, because they know how more direct support will look like. A shitty 3rd rate country likes Romania does not worth the risk of damaging USA's image even more, even if the anti-rocket program will not be put in place.
The Romanian politicians idiots did not learn anything from the Red Revolution.

Hopefully ACTA will have the same fate with the EU Parliament. On the other hand, I'm sure SOPA will be revised and come back to bite everyone on the ass harder than ever.

As for our "beloved" president, next election we'll see him step down. Altho that doesn't mean things are looking better, since all the other romanian politicians are of the same breed. But that's a different topic, dude :)
