uhm there are two goliathus pads, "speed" and "control". control is codeword for high friction

I owned both and the Control is for low friction (extremely slick), Speed is higher friction. I think the naming scheme they use is dumb and confusing, however those are the facts.

and for the size.. use higher sens.. mine's approx. 12-15years old, so worn, but still a great feel, but not as rough on the hands.. (got a new one laying in the closet, waiting for the "rubber" to get old and soft, as it wont stay put right now)

cant use high sens, the mousepad is really too small, cheap and not really stable

The steelseries NP+ is suppose to have more friction. You should look into it as an option.

wanted to bump this thread because i recently switched from goliathus speed to the qck heavy and i definitely like it better. i was wondering if even more friction would help. i recently ordered the talent and the NP+, i'll respond here when i get them, but i was wondering if anyone had any more ideas for cloth pads with more friction than the qck heavy?

Talent has less friction then a heavy. For the first few weeks or so it feels like a smooth hard pad until it breaks in and then it just feels like a really smooth, soft qck.

NP+ I dunno about. Perhaps the Puretrak Col pad?

maybe i should correct myself though, its more like medium high friction, not mad high friction

i just got the NP+ and i figured i'd post about it here. this thing has MASSIVE friction. i doubt anybody actually wants to play on this thing, maybe a very small %age of people. but if you ilke REALLY high friction, this mousepad could be for you. it's like dragging your mouse htrough sand. not only is the pad very textured, it's "grippy" almost rubber like.

eww i hate grippy/sticky mouse pads. i can barely play on goliathus speed becase of this.
it only feels sticky on mice with teflon feet though, mice with plastic feet like wmo feels amazing on it.

another reminder of why i miss the qck+, the friction may be to high for my taste but atleast the friction is CONSISTENT. to bad abyssus doesnt work on it at all.

thinking about ordering allsop gigapad XL, hopefully abyssus works on it.
