i watched some stand-ups the last few days including 'Kill the messenger' by Chris Rock, 'Like, totally' by Dylan Moran and some show by Robin Williams. all three were pretty awesome with Williams being a bit over the top.

so yeah, what's your fav. stand-up comedian?

All Connolly but I think I've told you that before. That guy makes stuff that shouldn't be funny, funny. Get his Scotland and New Zealand tour stuff or anything where he goes into a mass rant.

Careful of Frankie Boyle, he is far better on panel shows as his stand up stuff is repetitive. But I guess if you have not seen him on panel shows you'll find his stand-up funny as it'll all be new.

There was a stint he did with Stephen K Amos at the Apollo, get that because the Amos section was absolutely awesome.

Russel Howard's stand-up rocked as well. I found him to be like McIntyre, somewhat annoying on panel shows but pleasantly surprised by his stand-up.

Liam said Dara O'Briran already. Al Murray can be awesome but then shit at the same time although I remember when he hosted the Apollo last time being pretty fucking awesome. Infact, I think that's what made me look for more.

While you're on it, you may as well grab the Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow that aired recently. He went to some major UK cities and hosted a show with 3 or 4 local comedians usually finishing with someone pretty popular. Some better than others but since they were not on for too long it wasn't a problem.
