immy plays really strange. it looks like he's not even trying but he hits a lot of rails. too bad he didnt commit fully to q3. cs is a very poor game imho :o.

He used to play for riot squad but stopped a few seasons ago. His last cs was for team USA at the WCG 2001.

CS used to be funner than quake, I do think 1.4 "is a very poor game" however.

Abuse was very good at quake2. They were the 3rd best clan on the west coast to Deathrow and Ultraviolence.

Classic, classic demo.

This demo is one I will never, ever forget. I still remember the first time I saw it, how I reacted, etc. This one had the biggest shock factor of any demo I've ever seen. NO ONE took on four Abuse cats on an obscure map with no health or armor.

I think that a lot of kids who started gaming at around the time this was played or after fail to understand that it was matches like this one that, while all-in-good-fun and whatnot, drastically altered the playing level. I don't think I exaggerate too severely when I say that demos like this one are to the gaming scene what Dark Side Of The Moon was to rock 'n' roll.

Abuse only had one target to shoot at on a big map and with no health or armour to control, the only disadvantage immortal had was when he met two or more Abuse at the same time, 50% of the time it was 1v1 with immortal having a 50% ping advantage. Its an entertaining demo but not really amazing if you think about it.

Sorry but what you are saying is just retarded, don't try and downgrade what he did, that was a herculian task.

No sorry it wasn't. The game was more like a immortal vs abuse tag team. Everytime he spawned and grabbed an unguarded gun he was equal or better of in health than the next enemy he met. It wasn't really any harder for immortal than a FFA, though you obviously see it differently through your fan boy glasses.

Even for the ages of this demo abuse seemed that they could do with a bit of a refresher course of rocket laucher 101.

imo immos demos in q2 usually were pretty ugly to watch and the aim 'looks' bad but its the opposite.
