Like Cannibal Holocaust (1980), this movie (Cannibal Ferox) contains several actual animal killings. Though his character kills an animal in the film, Giovanni Lombardo Radice thoroughly objected to the animal killings and refused to participate in them (a double had to be used). thats what i find so disgusting about it, they've made it seem so realistic, kinda gross! with the caming and everything, no shaolin all editing and recams shit, its just like it was for real.. sick shit :)

havent seen cannibal holocaust, only remember eaten alive,dschungel der kannibalen (the cannibal movie, not the tobe hooper)
at the time when watching it was the most disturbing movie ive seen, besides that i dont like torturing animals, dunno if they have eaten it or the killing was the fastest possible way (tbh i dont exactly remember the scenes)
besides that i think the movie was made realistic like its said about other cannibal movies with a sick athmosphere. i always compare it to some other horror classics like night of the living dead or chainsaw massacre.
who know both movies and can give a comparison ?

Rather watch real executions than stupid gore/splatter movies.
