It's gonna be short, just in case somebody is interested.

Cheers.
Rock Band looks cool, but not so next-gen. New game with Pinatas - Party Animals is just one of those Nintendo-style party games. Cool, but nothing special. May be fun, tho.
Live Arcade games looked promising with Golden Axe and Sonic going Live! today. They announced a deal with Disney as well - now you'll be able to download movies via marketplace.
Then they showed Project Gotham 4, with bikes. Looked like Bizzare did pretty awesome job implementing bikes into the PGR - it may be fun to play, can't wait to try it out.
Now to Lost Odyssey. Doesn't take my breath away, but looks like a solid jRPG.
Then they talked Windows - Viva Pinata and Gears of War. Bigger, better, more. Bla bla bla.
After this, they started talking about a Windows Live games - something like Xbox Live! for Vista. And yeah - Crysis looks damn outstanding.
Then to Call of Duty 4. Watching the trailers and developers playing the game, I get the "cinematic" feeling, the way the game is shot, the story told. Seems it's going to be pretty fun single player title. We'll see about a multiplayer, tho.
After COD4 they showed the GTA IV second trailer we all know. It's gonna be great and will have exclusive 360 episodic content.
Next to Japanese support - Virtua Fighter 5 online, Devil May Cry, Ace Combat and... Resident Evil 5 which is a must-buy for me judging by what I've seen so far.
And now - yeah, Assassins Creed, played on-stage! It's one of those games that just have to and will be a must-buy for most of us. They showed some fighting and nice chase through the city.
Oh, I forgot to add that they showed some live-action Halo footage which reminds me Aliens. And there will be a special Halo edition of 360 due in September.
All in all, it was a medicore conference. Nothing thrilling, my awesomeness-meter hasn't noted anything special. It's cool to see some games, like PGR4, RE5, AC, COD4, doing well, but I've expected to be blown away. This year it was "look how good we are, how many units we got sold". I mean, they have a considerable line-up and at this moment I'd rather buy 360 than PS3, but still, it would be cool to see something inspiring.
Ahh - they showed new Halo3 trailer which sucked. But I'm not a Halo fan anyway.
Sorry for my English, I've written this piece watching the conference, so it may be funny to read ;]
Nintendo Press Conference held at the Civic Centre auditorium in Santa Monica, California was all about reaching mainstream and broading gaming experience to people who don't use to play videogames. They showed new device called Wii Balance Board and set of games that successfully makes use of it. The device itself looks like a Dance Dance Revolution mat but instead of having mapped "buttons" it detects player's moves and weight balance. While Angel Munoz and his family may find the Wii enjoyable, for me it's way too casual. Only Mario Galaxy caught my attention. It seems the game is going to be plain awesome. Simple as that.
