edit : most of the tricks = holy fucking shit. while mew was flying through the air in the last trick, i was actually saying "no way no way no way" to myself. some of mew's tricks however were already shown in aero/aero2/the previous digital brutality movies. the lack of fsaa was definitely noticeable like i told you last night but i'm sure you'll fix that for your next vid. gj on your first vid attempt sopp4. would like to see more, especially if it's cpm.

the exact same thing happened to me on that cpm3a trick, although reading the comments on frenchfragfactory.net warned me that there was an awesome last trick on cpm3a, I kept on thinking it couldn't happen. He couldn't get there. Holy fucking shit.

Yeah, i noticed i forgot to use AA just in the end when i was just about done with the editing. I also ran into alot more consequences while making the movie, as it was my first full lenght video :) Sorry if the video seems to be too dark for some of you, and 3rd person view's was just made for the synchronizing with music, with lack of material its impossible to avoid the fact some of them showed multiple times :P also i wanted to view all tricks from the start to the end in first person so people can actually see whats going on.

lol, i do listen to trance, but not all kinds. just the more relaxed stuff that leans a bit towards house music. i dont jump around like a goon all day plus i dont like jumpstyle either... its rather stupid ;p

Tiesto is ok, has some nice songs, but is pretty overrated. I prefer listening to livesets anyway, especially when it comes to trance/dance/housequake. Try Fedde le Grand live at Extrema NYE

that wouldn't help much, considering what we saw just now had really jaggy edges (no fsaa, shame on them!) and in general looked more like a game config than movie config.

(no offence to the creatores, the tricks were some of the best I've seen in a cpma tricking video)

oldschool tricks. "Real" maps used most of the time. I prefer this movie over 10x RL tricks on trickmaps movies.

I can't say enough for the content in this. All very nice moves. A few very, very impressive moves. And a final move that makes your eyes tear up.

Only limiting point to the movie is the quality. Like someone said earlier, it's kinda on the darker side and the quality is meh.

But from a first time moviemaker, this is a HUGE first step. You did a really great job, sopp4. The editing I thought was classy. Very well put together in terms of syncing and transitions and even some of those on-beat effects where the walls are lighting up (which I bet took some knowledgeable effort). I also liked the simplicity. It wasn't overly flashy and didn't distract from the moves.

If you want to check out a VERY classy trick movie based in cpm physics, this is it. Another great video to add to the already impressive selection for cpm trick vids.

haha :P it sometimes is really frustrating to get to the starting place when tricking in cpma :p. Especially when teamtricking. I had few teamtricks in b0_beta6 too but i didnt feel like adding then in the video as the map doesnt load correctly in q3mme, the 1 buggy clip there even makes me want to cry :D

So it's q3mme that does that stupid "sky-bug" where you can see all the other rooms? that looks so horrible :( why not just use normal cpma or whatever?

yea that's how q3mme handles multi arena maps. im guessing b0_beta works similar to ra3 maps?

nope. it connects also through teles but you always respawn in the main room, I think you have to label the rooms/arenas differently for a multiarena map. The thing is that the rooms are distributed in the editing space of radiant, which is a box. and since there are so many rooms, well I had to stack them. The sky basically doesnt block out visible faces behind it in q3mme.

yes, there are quite a bit of tricks that are known, but they are ALWAYS in a run that is longer and harder than i've made before. you see normal 360-flips in skateboard runs too, you dont whine about them if the run is impressive enough. ;)

Anomaly: if the last trick is the cpm3a circlejump + doublejump + grenade from near the YA to MH, it took about 40minutes of endless trying. and the credits for the trick go to OvO. he found it, he even landed it to RL before me, but i wanted to try if i could go further. : )

well most of my demos are named like 1v1 unknown map name date etc so i really cba to find them anymore, it was horrible enough when making the movie :) but i can post your demos though ^^
