My resolutions: Achieve the same amount (or more) success in my job as this year, since it´s the best job I could ever have wished for.

Eat more biological food, less of the engineered crap!
More working out, a good and clean lifestyle is the basis of a happy life!
Paint the exterior of my house.
More active involvement in local politics, change the world is what I say!

My resolution for year 2007:

- Try and get my map into id's community map pak
- Build a level that competitive community will like
- Better understand gameplay, levelflow and item placement
- Get my chest as big as Patrick Bateman in movie "American Psycho" or lead character in "American History X". My current shape is this:

Pushups = big chest bro. I do 300 every other day + the regular gym routine. That is 20 pushups, then 30 sec break, 20 pushups, etc.

I do bench press as well. I know this guy who got a huge chest and he's been to the joint. He said he got it by doing lots of pushups. So that why I said pushups are important.

lots of pushups will give you good endurance, but not mass.

low reps of heavy weighted pushups would wor, but not 300 a day!

not 300 thats for sure, if you do a normal weights routine then that routine alone should be fine.

muscles need more than a day to repair if you work them properly. the chest is one muscle group that does work well with 2 workouts a week, but they have to be specific and not to failure.

the best reps for muscle mass are between 6 and 12 really (1-5 for strength, 13+ for endurance).

i would say min of 3 days depending on what your goals are. if you have a 4 day split, then you are looking at doing each body part once a week really, 3 day split would be around once every 4/5 days.

you need to allow the body part to rest long enough (including good sleep each night) as well as a decent diet, for the body to grow at its best.

I lack decent sleep. In fact I stayed up tonight working on the level. Let's say that I work out the whole body. Do I still need to take 3-5 dayss off? Don't you think it's too much. I hear 1 day is enough, maybe 2.

if you are doing full body routine a few times a week then im guessing you are lacking intensity and as such, could get away with a couple of days rest.

Here's a tip for you.

The more money you earn the more you spend which in turn increases your expectations and raises your level of contentment.

Unless you earn a shitload of money you're never happier for it.
Even if your salary increase by 10k, all you do is buy a few nicer thing's get used to them and they won't seem so nice anymore and you'll feel no different than you do now.
